What are bio-identical hormones?
Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy or BHRT refers to the use of hormones that are identical in molecular structure to the hormones naturally produced by the body, for the purpose of restoring or balancing hormonal levels.

Hormones such as estradiol, progesterone, testosterone, and others that Mayascript Pharmacy uses are pharmaceutically made to be “bio-identical” to the ones naturally occurring in the human body. For example, our progesterone is sourced from non-GMO wild yams. We go above and beyond the standard, and offer our patients compounding options, such as lactose, gluten and GMO free ingredients. We also offer vegan options with plant based capsules and fillers.
